Darchula : Police have arrested two young women on charge of killing three-and-a-half-year-old Bivek Bisht, who was found dead in Tikapur of Kailali district.
Police have arrested a 15-year-old girl and her friend. It has been informed that two young women have been arrested on the charge of murder while holding a press conference at the Area Police Office, Tikapur.
Chief of Police, District Police Office, Kailali, said that during the preliminary investigation, Bibek’s cousin has confessed to the murder. “Preliminary investigations have revealed that the minor was killed by his cousin . The cousin confessed that she killed Bibek by pushing him into the Jamara drain. According to police, the girl had planned the murder due to family resentment.
The body of the boy, who had been missing since 11 a.m. on Monday, was found on the bank of Jamara river on Wednesday.
